New players of all ages are always welcome.

ARCHERY SA

Archery SA caters for over 800 members throughout the State. Archery is a perfect fit for the oval, reflecting the gentle ambience of the Mylor area.

MYLOR COMMUNITY MARKET

Mylor Community Market, set on the beautiful Mylor Oval, is held on the first Sunday of each month 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Come and browse, enjoy a breakfast BBQ, and discover some hidden treasure.

MYLOR BONFIRE & FIREWORKS NIGHT

The Mylor Bonfire Night has been held annually for over 20 years. Originally run by the the Mylor Primary School as a major fundraiser the event went into recess during the covid years.  Not wanting to continue,  the baton for running the event was passed from the Primary School to the Mylor Oval Committee.   The event traditionally attracts visitors from all over Adelaide and the Hills and the goal remains the same … a good night out for the family and the chance to have a great fundraising event for the community,

Check out the Bonfire page for details of this years event and put the date in your diary!

THE ENGLISH ALE

Ale, while referring to a decent beer,  and yes that is available, is not the meaning here.   The ale in  English Ale means plenty of  singing, dancing, making merry and yes drinking!

It is a seasonal gathering to celebrate the customs and ritual traditions from the British Isles that still survive today. The English Ale is organised by like minded ‘Anglophiles’ who are passionate and proud of these living customs and want to see them continue and survive in this far away land of Australia.

Mylor Oval and Sherry Park have beautiful facilities that are for the benefit of all residents in the area.

The Oval stretches from Strathalbyn Road across the beautiful Aldgate Creek to the hillside beyond. There is a free electric BBQ as well as picnic tables.

Sherry Park, home to the old bootmaker’s cottage, has a children’s playground and picnic areas.

The Oval club rooms can be hired for functions — see the link on the home page.
